About Brennon
Expert Analysis
Donald Tatum | Prep Hoops Scout
Moreno improves each time I see him play and he gains more comfort on the court with each competition. He is a big strong kid, and plays the smart game. In a game where bigs look to handle the ball and do guards work, Moreno does the little things and he works for his guards. He rebounds, outlets, sets screens and finishes. All at a high level. He has plenty of time to develop and he is on the steady path.

put on an impressive performance by doing what he does well. There is beauty in the simple game of a traditional big man. Moreno plays the game smart and lets the flashy players showcase their skills. On the other hand, he sets picks and screens, and when they reward him with a pass he finishes. He is a big strong player and when he moves around bodies move. He is a strong post player, and he has a high motor. He works hard on the glass, and when he rebounds, he scores or makes a play for his teammates. Moreno is exactly what you want in a player, his age and size. Smart, strong, active and efficient

Moreno is a developing big with all the tools to be an impact player. His size and athleticism are his biggest assets, but he also has the foundational skill required to carry a team in the future. His physical frame is beyond his years and his ability to rebound and finish at the rim make him an interesting prospect in the state. Consider him one to watch for sure in the state as the class of 2028 is showing that they have size to contend with and that is what coaches are looking for in todays game.

STM had a lot of senior forwards leave the program. Consequently, the 6’6″ forward, Moreno, should be able to help them. Brennon is a skilled forward who can shoot the baseline jumper. He can also post up on either block and score. Moreno is very mobile. So, he will not be stationary within the offense. His ability to score and rebound will be a great addition to the Cougars lineup.
