July is almost over, meaning the summer season is over. The 2027 class has only played one varsity season, but has already made its impact on the hardwood, including unranked prospects. Here are the 2027 unranked prospects to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504903' first='Dylan' last='Cowell'], 6'8 PF Pingry

Cowell is one of the most intriguing prospects to watch in this class with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'8 forward has a nice touch around the basket and is able to get position down low. Cowell has a good release on his free throws and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He is a force on the glass and swats a ton of shots around the basket. Cowell picked up his first D1 offer last month and it should only grow as the year goes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467516' first='Patrick' last='Crotty'], 6'5 SG Hun

Crotty has the potential to play on the wing as well, making him a prospect to track in the class. The 6'5 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Crotty moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He slides his feet defensively and is an underrated rebounder. Crotty is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to stretch the floor will help his stock in a big way.

Chace Readler, 6'0 PG Millburn

Readler has the potential to breakout this year as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 6'0 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get into the lane and finishes well around the basket. Readler is more than just a slasher as he has a good shooting stroke and sets his feet before shoots. He has the ability to play off the ball as well and slides his feet on the defensive end. Readler is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to run the offense effectively will help his development over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504905' first='Gary' last='Jennings'], 5'10 PG Princeton Day

Jennings had a solid debut varsity season and should build upon it in 2024-25. The 5'10 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Jennings has a soft touch on his floater and can also knock down open jumpers behind the arc. He is an underrated passer and works hard on the defensive end. Jennings will have the ball in his hands hands more this season, which will help his game in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2464737' first='Gavin' last='Biasi'], 5'11 CG Red Bank Catholic

Biasi is primed to take a big step this season as he should get more touches on the offensive end. The 5'11 guard plays with good floor vision as he's able to find his open teammates in the halfcourt and rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands. Biasi wastes little motion in his release and can also get into the rim off the bounce. He is a tough on-ball defender and also has the ability to play off the ball. Biasi is a tough guard prospect whose does whatever it takes to help his team win games.
