Prep Hoops Indiana moved headquarters to South Carolina for the last two weeks. We hit the road on Monday, July 8th and just returned back to the Hoosier state on Monday, July 22nd. After two weeks on the road, 12 days spent in the gym, 8-12 hours of basketball a day, and over 80 games covered it is time to look back and recap what we saw. We've already highlighted some of the big picture thoughts and takeaways, with a strictly Indiana focus, from the past two weeks covering the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships and Nike EYBL Peach Jam. Then, we took a look at eight under-the-radar standouts from the two weeks spent out in South Carolina. Now, let's dive in and highlight some of the younger, Class of 2027 prospects that stood out during our trip.

Cross Jr is a talented scorer who had a strong freshman season at Bloomington North and has continued to play well through the spring and summer for Indiana Elite 15u. He shoots the ball really well from the perimeter when his feet are set consistently providing floor-spacing for Indiana Elite's talented backcourt. The 6'2" guard has some fluid athleticism off of the bounce as well to create his own shot and get downhill to the rim. He played very well out in Rock Hill at the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships.

When we expanded our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings to a Top 25 in our recent update we included this Silver Creek High School product. That has proven to be a great decision as Hunter has continued to prove himself as one of the best pure point guards in the rising sophomore class. He is an excellent decision-maker and passer, isn't afraid to mix it up on the glass from the perimeter, and can score when needed. Hunter put up a 10-rebounds, 9-assist performance on Tuesday in Rock Hill at the USA Basketball Club Championships showcasing what he can do to impact winning without having to score the basketball.

Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground out in South Carolina when [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 15u took on [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 15u. Team Tradition won the matchup, but this prospect from Ben Davis High School shot the ball very well from three-point range and stood out with his consistent motor and all-around skill level. Powe II is among the next wave of talented young guards to develop and grow into a role for the Giants. Really impressed with his catch-and-shoot ability, but he looks very capable playing both on or off of the ball.

One of the standouts for [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] in their convincing win over [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] in the Adidas Gold 15u semifinals in South Carolina, Riethman showed a good deal of two-way versatile with Prep Hoops Indiana in attendance. He has good length on the wing, shoots it in consistently from three-point range, and showed off some playmaking ability when attacking closeouts or slashing into the paint from the wings. There is a lot of young talent at Guerin Catholic right now and this is certainly one of the names to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.

A highly productive guard for [program_tooltip program_id='2470527' first='Indy' last='Heat Red'] 15u, Sharpe put up some big numbers down at Augusta Live during the first of the two July live periods. He is an excellent ball handler with impressive change of pace in ballscreen situations that he uses to create separation and keep the defense off balance. Sharpe maintains great court vision and passing ability when operating off of the dribble while also being a threat to score it himself. The Brownsburg High School point guard had an impressive game in a win over Khris Middleton Hoops Elite finishing with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals.

We've had Tonagel ranked as a Top 15 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Rankings since our very first release. He has continued to prove us right through the spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition']. They won the Adidas Gold 15u Championship out in South Carolina with Tonagel leading the way as their primary scoring and playmaking threat throughout the week. As a freshman at Oak Hill, Tonagel put up very impressive numbers averaging 15.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.

You can't write about Class of 2027 prospects in Indiana without highlight Cooper Zachery. He is as consistently productive as anyone in the state and that translates to the highest levels of competition. Obviously he was the starting point guard as a freshman for the Class 4A state champions, but he also dominated at Augusta Live with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] and is now playing very well at the USA Basketball Club Championships in Rock Hill with Indiana Elite. One of the best three-point shooters, passers, on-ball defenders, and all-around playmakers in the class.
