Bezenah most recently helped his Southern Assault team to a 3-1 record against some very good 3SSB competition in California. Aiden showed great touch and was able to shoot well from the outside against Compton Magic. His defensive versatility was probably was stood out most though. With multiple blocks against both 99OVR and Mass Rivals, the sophomore was able to stay in front of smaller wing players while also using his length to matchup and change shots in the paint. Bezenah continues to also grow was a passer and was able to provide open looks for others against Compton Magic because of his ability to survey the defense and look opposite to find shooters.

Aiden is a lethal stretch forward who is really raising his stock. The 6’8” wing has a very nice jumper, and with his height, he is shooting over defenders with no problem, whether it’s off the catch or off the dribble. He has a high release, making it hard for defenders to contest, and he shoots the ball at a high clip. Versus Putnam City North, Bezenah shot the ball extremely well, hitting four timely threes and answering PC North every time they went on a run. He is a very special talent and could possibly put his name on the national radar as time goes on.

After watching Bezenah four times over the past two week, there’s a lot to get excited about. Along with some clear areas of improvement for him to unlock his high potential. Let’s start with the good. He’s legit tall, with an even longer wingspan. Often leading to at least one or two highlight reel play with a block or a dunk each game. Form is good and he looks comfortable as a stretch forward hitting threes. Even can put it on the deck enough to be a face up threat against close outs.
Now for the area of improvements. His hands need to work to improving his finishing. This was quite apparent in the game against East Central as he fumbled some scoring opportunities at the rim. Would project his long term potential as more of a modern stretch forward, who is switchable on defense rather than a true wing. Rebounding and blocking shots will impress college coaches more than between the leg dribble combos. Eager to continue to track his improvements, because the potential is high.

The promising sophomore had a productive performance with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Flashed the long term perimeter skillset upside with an early three pointer. Then went to work as a rebounder and scoring around the rim. Got loose for a couple transition dunks, which brought the house down. An area of improvement is the points he left on the board. Missed a couple buckets around the rim. Clean that up, and he can be a 20 point performer consistently, and continue to ascend.

Aiden Bezenah’s versatility was on full display. He showed phenomenal body control, contorting through traffic for inside-hand finishes with touch. From beyond the arc, he was comfortable firing off the catch, using efficient footwork and a high, fluid release. A reliable pick-and-pop threat, Bezenah’s quick shooting mechanics and decisiveness kept defenders on edge. He also showed strong rebounding instincts, always finding a body to box out when the shot went up.

High upside forward prospect, with an expanding skillset to match his athletic gifts. Is a good attacker in transition and when put into spots to attack slower footed opposing wings/forwards. With a jumper that needs to be respected, he can drag the opposition out to him. Opening up driving angles. Long strides are starting to give him a graceful look as he explodes to the rim. A sign he’s growing into his body and ready to take his game to the next level. Looks to have thrived in the up and down nature of AAU, giving him confidence before likely stepping into a bigger role this winter for Jenks.

Bezenah is another representation of the depth of upside prospects in 2028. The young forward prospect is still growing and could turn into turn post prospect. But there are some perimeter aspects to his game. Right now he gets active around the rim, making use of his size and athletic ability. An active AAU spring, should set the stage for a big sophomore campaign in the 918.
