Andre' is always a game-changer because he can make his presence known on both ends. This weekend he played multiple roles on his squad. Talented scorers surrounded Austin, so he was more focused on feeding them & setting his teammates up. He also locked up on defense. When the team got out of sorts he was the floor general to get them back on track. An important role player for NDP who made a run to the Final 4. Johnson did a phenomenal job in Phenom's ball-screen coverage and he consistently boxed out. Brennan proved that he is a physical screener, he got many of his teammates open for clean looks. BJ played stingy defense in the MN Select win. We can't forget his clutch 3-point makes and the high percentage that he shot. An important role player for NDP who made a run to the Final 4. Englund did a wonderful defensive job in all of the games. He played hard, hustled all over the court, and was physical on both ends. On offense, Caden did a nice job of getting downhill which led to scores at the cup and assists.   [player_tooltip player_id='2448159' first='Caden' last='Kimman'] (2027) |6'4 F| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 15U Terhaar   WHY?   This versatile player from Centennial uses his combination of height and athleticism to be a great switching defender. Kimman is able to guard almost every position on the court, while also being a box-out artist who lets his guard swoop in for easy rebounds. You have to love playing with teammates like that!   [player_tooltip player_id='1950722' first='Camden' last='Aufforth'] (2025) |6'1 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2413157' first='3ND' last='Hoops Fam']   WHY?   3ND ended the Finals on a 5-game win streak and won the Gold Consolation Championship. Aufforth hustled, picked up loose balls, dove on the floor to keep possessions alive, and grabbed jump balls to help flip the possession. Camden had some clutch O-board putbacks in close games and produced big scores. I was also impressed with his pull-up jumper & soft shooting touch.   [player_tooltip player_id='1541562' first='Corbyn' last='Follingstad'] (2026) |6'6 F| Bearstail Basketball   WHY?   The BIG man from South rebounded well and mopped up on the boards. Follingstad played excellent help-D and limited the opposition. Corbyn is a great teammate who always promotes his comrades. Follingstad has great length and he is a legit stretch-5. Keep eyes on this Bruin.   [player_tooltip player_id='1716899' first='Drake' last='Schlosser'] (2025) |6'2 G| & [player_tooltip player_id='2099379' first='Tamari' last='Carter'] (2025) |6'2 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2413157' first='3ND' last='Hoops Fam']   WHY?   3ND ended the Finals on a 5-game win streak and won the Gold Consolation Championship. Drake & Tamarai Carter had a huge hand in that success. They guarded the opposing team's best perimeter players and they did well! Drake hit some big three-pointers and Tamari had several impressive attacking drives to the bucket. Schlosser & Carter shined on both O & D.   [player_tooltip player_id='2139462' first='Eddie' last='Reinert'] (2027) |6'1 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 15U Terhaar   WHY?   The talented baller from Elk River was a clutch-play machine this weekend. Eddie made many impressive touch finishes and mid-range shots while also making very tough passes in traffic to set up his teammates with easy finishes. He did a great job of scoring but also creating for others.   [player_tooltip player_id='1657448' first='Gibson' last='Kinnebrew'] (2027) |6'3 G| D1 MN 2027 3SSB   WHY?   Gibby stands out for his relentless work ethic and versatility. He never takes a play off, excels on defense and outworks everyone for rebounds/loose balls. His powerful dunks and scoring ability, combined with his unselfish play, make him invaluable. Gibby's hustle and game-changing plays are evident in every minute he is on the court, making him a true game-changer!   [player_tooltip player_id='2447455' first='Hunter' last='Olson'] (2027) |6'2 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 15U Terhaar   WHY?   The hustler from St. Francis is always one of the most active players on the court! Hunter is constantly making the diving play or pestering as an on-ball defender. Olson loves to make offensive players uncomfortable and uneasy when he is locked up on the perimeter.   [player_tooltip player_id='2312608' first='Hunter' last='Wolff'] (2025) |5'10 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075723' first='ND' last='Attack'] 17U   WHY?   Wolff he played extremely hard and never gave up on any plays. Hunter rebounded the basketball and guarded his tail off no matter who it was against. Hunter hit a couple of big 3's along with some crucial layups and mid-range jumpers, especially in the last game. He did a nice job all tournament. The BIG from Elk River constantly gave maximum effort on the glass and he made numerous hustle plays that resulted in putback points. Jackson hoops with a high motor that never stops or slows down. Opposing players do not want to mess with Boll's energy!   [player_tooltip player_id='2382258' first='Keller' last='Schmitz'] (2026) |6'2 SF| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 2026 Martinson   WHY?   Schmitz hails from Elk River and he is a tough one-on-one defender. He plays defense with quick feet, takes advantage of angles, is tough on-ball, and he makes ball handlers uncomfortable. Keller showed that he is growing/improving as a shooter and he knocked down 3 or so triples per game. His confidence continues to grow and his playmaking/aggression to the rim is going in an upward trend.   [player_tooltip player_id='2132776' first='Keaton' last='Batke'] (2027) |5'11 G| Bearstail Basketball   He handled the ball well & took care of business. Keaton created and set up teammates for shots. Playing up an age division but didn't back down. Showed off his handles, rebounded well, dove on the floor for extra possessions.   Marvel Murphey (2026) |6'4| [program_tooltip program_id='2135832' first='Next' last='Level Basketball Academy']   WHYMak   Blocked at least 7 shots per game, very athletic, jumped out of the gym, 10+ boards per game, Draymond Green type of player. He makes everyone better on the hardwood.   [player_tooltip player_id='2140672' first='Nolan' last='Roach'] (2027) |6'0 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 2027 Stone   WHY?   The hard-working baller from Spring Lake Park had a great weekend while doing all the little things. Nolan plays with 110% effort on both ends and leaves everything on the basketball court. Nolan is not known to pack the box score but does have big games as he does all the little things. He had games this weekend with stat lines of 6 pts, 8 ast, 7 reb, 5 stl and 5 pts, 9 ast, 8 reb, 2 stl.   [player_tooltip player_id='1951582' first='Nunpa' last='Kirkie'] (2026) |5'11 G| Pack 16U   WHY?   This young man stays under the radar. People have not seen him much this summer but he was playing like a seasoned vet at the Finals. Kirkie is strong, skilled, and plays under control. Nunpa is non-stop on both sides of the ball. He plays all spots/positions on the floor well (including back to the basket) and Kirkie wants to guard everyone, he is fun to watch.   [player_tooltip player_id='2408486' first='Sammy' last='Hill'] (2028) |6'3 PF| Pack 16U   WHY?   This youngster played up in 16U and got some quality burn at the Finals. Whenever Sammy got put into the game, he was ready to go. Right now, he is an undersized BIG but he makes up for it play playing all-out all the time. Hill is absolutely a glue player you want on your team. He has no ego is all work!   [player_tooltip player_id='1617797' first='Soren' last='Leafblad'] (2025) |5'9 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 17U Bertsch   WHY?   He averaged over 10 ppg, 5 rpg, and 5 apg for the Finals Tournament. Leafblad is constantly in the correct position on offense and he rebounds extraordinarily well for his size/height. Soren is a great leader and a selfless teammate.   Teysean Eaglestaff (2024) |6'7 F| Pack   WHY?   Eaglestaff has made a huge jump out of nowhere. He is playing well-rounded basketball. Teysean is in the post getting buckets off rebounds & back-to-basket action. He also hits from mid-range and well past the 3pt line. He also showed up big on defense at the Finals. He was switching from forwards/posts to the wings and doing good work. Eaglestaff's long arms took away passing angles, stole the ball, altered shot attempts, and erased buckets.   [player_tooltip player_id='1657449' first='Weston' last='Scott'] (2027) |6'1 G| [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom']   WHY?   He played up in 16U and was a STUD. Scott's ATO was sensational and his rebound numbers were highly impressive. Weston was NDP's "Do Everything Guy" at the Finals. Phenom was down 2 talented guards, so Scott had to be the creator and primary scorer. He also defended the opposing top-wing player.   Zach Scmockel (2027) |6'2 F| [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] 2027 Stone   WHY?   The kid from Stillwater is an undersized post but makes up for it with his physicality and strength. Zach is a big-time football player and doesn't back down from anyone. Scmockel was dominant on the boards this weekend and was excellent as an inside defensive presence of opposing bigs.   Zack Osterhaus (2025) |6'3 SF| Wisconsin Academy Strandie   WHY?   Osterhaus is straight-up a lockdown defender! Zack has a knack for getting loose balls while hauling in double-digit rebounds & competing at a high level. He plays with heart, high NRG, and never takes a possession off.
