A quick rundown of prospects that caught the eye over a few day's at UCOs' top tier team camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552315' first='Evan' last='Gunn']

In a couple viewings, the bulldog like lead guard looked more comfortable as a pull up shooter. Especially with range extending to beyond the arc. Gunn is a physical guard who had previously showed a gritty tough game on both ends. A more consistent jumper will be huge as he begins his upperclassman career.

[player_tooltip player_id='1796289' first='Pene' last='Vaisagote']

With athletic Vaisagote at the fore front of the scrappy Wolverines squad, they always leave their mark when they venture up I-44 to the 405. On Monday morning the bouncy wing was flying around with highlight reel dunks and draining threes. When he's locked in and with his natural athletic gifts, there are few players in Oklahoma who can provide as fun of a show as him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2472852' first='Josiah' last='Thomas']

Norman North is one of the many teams in the west side looking to emerge from what could potentially be a more balanced group of 6A contenders. A lot of their success at UCO and this June has come due to the new found maturity of their senior lead guard. With a balanced roster, Thomas has been a key component of winning and has started to turn the corner ahead of a big senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625043' first='Elijah' last='Garcia']

Crooked Oak walked away as champs of one of the brackets and it was the maestro often raining threes and making it happen. Garcia has continued to build momentum this spring as one of the classic "Heart over Height" guards that changes games through sheer force of will. Especially since he can bomb away a few steps from behind the arc. The Ruf Nex are well positioned to make noise in Class 3A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2024093' first='Cooper' last='Bradley']

Even on Wednesday afternoon after a few days full of hooping, Bradley was still a flamethrower from distance. After being a great spot up specialist as an underclassmen, the Irish senior is now a full on offensive weapon. With the ability to hit contested looks in the mid-range and from deep. After a strong finisher to his junior campaign, the Irish might have their go to scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1413171' first='Jake' last='Weaver']

The big man has waited his time while playing for one of Oklahoma's premier program, and is now making a big impact around the rim. Soft touch as a scorer and a good vision as a passer out of the high post are two of his best traits. There's good moments as a rebounder and space eater, but one contest did show that he needs to continue to work on playing to size against fellow post up threats. Be physical! In the paint, basketball is a contact sport.

[player_tooltip player_id='1625156' first='Mason' last='Craven']

Stepping into a bigger role at a new school, Craven shot the ball at a high clip on Tuesday morning. Looks best as a spot up threat, but improving with the ball in his hands. Which included flashes as a secondary playmaker type, willing to make the pass ahead in transition. Makings of a good all around guard, forming a potentially strong 1-2 punch for McLoud as they chase their dreams of the Big House.

[player_tooltip player_id='2472858' first='Daytain' last='Patton']

A gritty and hard nosed guard, Patton got after it on the defensive end in a couple viewings. He moves his feet well, even being willing to take charges when he cuts off an opposing ball handler. The Shawnee Wolf has the ability to get downhill at the 5A level, as a straw to stir the drink for his team. But he needs to continue to work on his decision making on those drives, as there are times he can fall victim to the "drive into the ocean" habit

[player_tooltip player_id='2472823' first='Evan' last='Hale']

OCS climbed the mountain top in Class 3A last year and while it's a new look roster this year, the mobile high school post looked promising on Monday morning. He runs the floor well, had promising as a roll man in pick and roll situations. And even flashed some defensive versatility with good hip movement when covering ground and ball handlers. It's always hard to judge too much off one viewing, but Hale had some promising signs as a late bloomer.
