Lockett, who had a terrific summer with Team Spartans, heads to MacDuffie after making a name for himself last winter in the MIAA. A big combo forward, Locket is a terror in transition and already makes highlight real plays way above the rim. He has great positional size and impressive length on the wing and profiles as a prospect that, long term, may profile as a big wing with his perimeter skillset. He’s a capable perimeter shooter that seems to improve his jumper each time out and is equally skilled off the ball and with it in his hands. He has a high defensive ceiling due to his willingness to rebound and ability to protect the rim from the help side. He earned his first scholarship offer this summer and is a prospect that will continue to be on the D1 radar going forward.
