Lunsford appears to be one of the most notable risers throughout the spring and summer, erupting for 30+ points in his initial outing for Green Mountain on Friday. A quickly progressing tall guard whose dependable handle paired with the smooth jump shot has made him a notable asset both at the high school and collegiate levels.

The engine for Riverdale Ridge’s new look program, Nieto has shown signs as a high usage scoring guard, effectively leveraging his strength and handle to get inside. Despite commanding a small role last season, Nieto is surely stepping into a large role this coming season, constantly empowering this group within the halfcourt.

Continuing to stretch out his range as a shooter, Braketa will play a necessary part in possibly the best shotmaking duo in the state. Brining in good size at his position, there are few opponents

Continuing to pile up threes, there are few guards in the state, regardless of class who bring his efficiency behind the arc. Alongside his strong frame, Marshall is working on rounding out his perimeter game, continuing to develop as a lead guard for Pine Creek. Defensively, he holds up versus bigger scoring guards, given his strong frame to take hits.

Brandt remains one of the more intriguing 2027 scoring guards, given his immediate height and strength as an incoming sophomore. Continuing to take on a large role for Prospect Ridge, he is a consistent finisher around the basket and willing shotmaker from the mid-range. Capable posting up opponents for fadeaways over the top, he routinely took advantage of smaller matchups.

Recently picking up a CSU Pueblo offer, Berninger continues to prove himself as one of the best shooting guards in the state, given his size, athleticism, and skill. Continuing to display growth as a downhill scorer, his improvements handling the ball and making decisions versus immediate pressure have allowed him to remain a high usage playmaker for Dakota Ridge.

Hitting quite a few clutch shots down the stretch throughout his various games, Shepherd is calm and collected when the going gets tough. An especially efficient shotmaker out of the mid-range, the guard is already a key offensive option for Denver South, drawing in plenty of gravity once he touches the ball.
Sekweya continuously hit tough shots in the mid-range, floaters or pull-ups, opponent contests did not matter. His smooth handle allowed him to attack the lane versus tight defense, comfortable getting off-balance attempts for Denver West.
Highlights
One of the most refined shotmakers in tha 2027 class, Dotston is a scoring threat from anywhere on the floor. Strong for his position while possessing a surprisingly soft touch on floaters or mid-range attempts, the guard will be a routine contributor for George Washington, although one of their youngest assets.
Trimm brings excellent size at his position in the backcourt, reaffirming his above the rim finishing and physically imposing frame. He remains an adept shotmaker from the mid-range, excellent contributing attempts above contests.
