The Pennington School | 2027
State
NJ
, 6’8 PF Pennington
Benka-Coker is the top rated prospect in the update with his move into the Garden State from Bethlehem Catholic. The 6’8 forward knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Benka-Coker can also put the ball on the floor and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots around the rim. Benka-Coker can affect the game at both ends of the floor, which will help his stock in a big way this summer.
Bryce Higgins

Higgins
6'3" | SF
North Hunterdon | 2027
NJ
, 6’3 SF North Hunterdon
Higgins had a solid spring and is looking to carry it over into the summer. The 6’3 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the basket and is unafraid of drawing contact. Higgins rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and knows how to get to his spot on the floor. He works hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Higgins’ ability to score inside and out is something that will help his game over the next couple of months.
Julian Van Hoeck

The Hun School | 2027
State
NJ
, 6’6 F Hun
Van Hoeck reclassified into the 2027 rankings, making him eligible for the rankings update. The 6’6 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. Van Hoeck uses his size to see over his defender and can also score in the mid-range. He is a strong rebounder and holds his ground on the defensive end. Van Hoeck has the potential to play both forward spots, which will help his development in a big way over his varsity career.
Tommy Calaprese Tommy Calaprese SG Cliffside Park | 2027 State NJ , SG Cliffside Park
Calaprese is one of the top shooters in the class and should put it on display this summer. He has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Calaprese moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and is an underrated defender. Calaprese’s ability to torch the nets is something that will help him throughout his high school career.
Chase Martin Chase Martin 6'5" | PF Bordentown | 2027 NJ , 6’5 PF Bordentown
Martin has the potential to make noise this summer with his ability to impact the paint. The 6’5 lefty uses his body to get position down low and can finish through contact in the paint. Martin can also put the ball on the floor and has a high release on his free throws. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and is a solid interior defender. Martin is a tough forward prospect whose ability to block shots and score around the basket will help his stock this summer.
