One of the best true Point Guards in South Carolina’s 2028 Class is Anton Daniels Anton Daniels 5'8" | PG Atlantic Collegiate Academy | 2028 State SC . Daniels displayed just why he is at the top of that conversation in the first half of Atlantic Collegiate’s matchup with Fox Creek, as he put up 6 assists with 0 turnovers. He made all the passes needed to get his teammates into the flow of the game – finding shooters, working the pick-and-roll, and getting the ball to his bigs in the paint. Anton was more of a scorer in the second half, finishing with 11 points with a couple of nice finishes at the rim and a mid-range pull-up.

Anton was a late add to Upward Stars SE 15U so this was my first time seeing him with them in person. However, he looked right at home running the show from the Point Guard position. Daniels came off the bench and added 4 assists and 2 steals in a loss to Team CP3 EYCL, showing that he can make plays on both ends of the floor. Despite his size, Anton defends very hard with quick feet and strong hands, but also sees the floor well and is a crafty finisher.

Anton Daniels Anton Daniels 5'8" | PG Atlantic Collegiate Academy | 2028 State SC is another Point Guard who stood out early in the season. He was the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Starting One when I caught them in Columbia in November and displayed efficient shooting, defensive pressure, craftiness in the lane, and a good handle. As of January 16th, Daniels is averaging 8.4 Points Per Game and 2.5 Assists Per Game and looks to be a top prospect to watch in the Lower State for the future.
