16 points on four three pointers wasn't enough to overcome [program_tooltip program_id='2078609' first='New' last='Heights'], so Forsythe followed that up with five triples for the bounce back victory against Team Melo. He looped around and through screens to gash the defense from deep. All he needed was an ounce of daylight to find the bottom of the net, whether he was spotting up beyond the arc or shooting off of movement. Forsythe even caught an offensive rebound then pulled up in rhythm. He chipped in 9 rebounds as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194375' first='Nick' last='Harken'] | 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] 15U

Down to just 6 players on Saturday, Harken was inserted into the starting lineup and he maximized the opportunity with his defense and off-ball movement. The 6'4 wing was effective as a small-ball five, contesting shots and scoring through contact inside. He exploited cracks in the defense with cuts and duck-ins around the rim. His ability to get open also allowed him to attack off-the-catch and be a secondary playmaker. He had 12 points, 4 rebounds & 4 assists versus Alabama Fusion.

[player_tooltip player_id='1395971' first='Christian' last='Jeffrey'] | 2025 [program_tooltip program_id='2135037' first='New' last='Heights Lightning'] 17U

Although three other players for [program_tooltip program_id='2078609' first='New' last='Heights'] eclipsed double figures in points against [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'], it was only possible because of Jeffrey's table setting. Brolic yet nimble, he repeatedly burst into the lane before kicking the ball back out for three. His playmaking was on-point in transition too, getting a rebound or forcing a turnover, then hitting teammates with long outlet passes. Jeffrey finished with 4 points, 7 boards, 9 assists & 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1705948' first='Marcus' last='Johnson'] | 2026 Indy Heat Gymrats 16U

In his first game of the day, Johnson let the chopper loose early and often. He hit two catch-and-shoot threes and two pull-up threes on his way to 17 points in the first half. From there, he relied on the threat of his jumper to compromise the defense off-the-bounce. Johnson's hesi was as lethal as his three, allowing him to get to the rim and draw fouls. He led the Gymrats with 30 points (9/10 FTs) & 8 rebounds in the overtime win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406896' first='Marvin' last='Reed'] | 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] 15U

Reed's defense and passing peaked against Alabama Fusion. A menace at the point-of-attack, he swiped the ball away from his man and instantly turned it into two points. After going up big in the second half, Fusion kept pressing, so Reed diced them up with his speed and vision, hitting teammates with pinpoint passes or scoring with touch around the basket. He put up 12 points, 5 assists & 3 steals, plus another 5 assists & 2 steals versus Paul George Elite.
