Who else stood out at last weekend's Comets Shootout from Minnesota? We run you through one last group!

[player_tooltip player_id='2119596' first='Cooper' last='Fahning'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Brewer (Eden Prairie, 6'5, F). Cooper was really impressive this weekend. He's a guy that played mostly JV this year but at his size, agility and skill, he seems like a player that could move into a nice role going forward, even on a team as stacked at that spot as EP. Cooper helped push his team to the 16s finals and scored a game high 16 points on 15 shots in that final.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286547' first='Sam' last='Hondl'] of Minnesota Comets (Albany, 6'6, Sf/Pf). Sam got hurt midway through the event so we didn't get to see much of him but when he was playing Sam played his versatile role in a way. Thought he played tough defensively, he rebounded well, and facing up against various opponents, Hondl had a major advantage of skill, agility, footwork and good ole effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617797' first='Soren' last='Leafblad'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] (Burnsville, 5'10, G). Soren led the Blaze in scoring this past winter and when we saw him in St. Cloud he showed off a touch with a good stroke, range, and a good timing in the possession with each shot. A guy that the opponent did not think to close high to at first but soon they were in chase whenever Leafblad got a touch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574221' first='Max' last='Lorenson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] (Eden Prairie, 6'2, SG). Max is a scorer and when the ball hits his hands he has the green light to go finish. He's the type of player that can score on the move with touch and score against contesting hands at a better percentage then some others. That said, he could be an even better scorer if he moved the ball and let it come back to him to attack space that would be even easier to finish against. Not many players in this class can fill it up like Max can.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] Wilcek of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] (Farmington, 6'5, Pf). Numbers wise [player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] did more than any of his teammates when I watched the team play. Such a good passer in that Fury framework plus [player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] rebounded strong, scored a high percentage in the paint, and scored off the ball as well. On a team that has versatile players that all do a lot, [player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last=''] seemed to do just a bit more in all categories.

[player_tooltip player_id='1984806' first='Jaxon' last='Young'] of Minnesota Crossfire (Coon Rapids, 6'3 Pg). In age of versatility having a lead guard with size that can handle and make decisions in a trusted, sound way, it's so important. Young's ability to handle, start the offense and direct his team really stood out to me. This is a player that led his team to state averaging 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, and he handled along with a very good point guard in [player_tooltip player_id='2362559' first='Jerry' last='Freeman'] so we know Young can play both roles. I like Young as a prospect with that size, skill, and understanding.
