Recruiting Report: Christian Knox
Ann Arbor Skyline is a team loaded with guard talent. Not just good players, but next-level collegiate type talent. Christian Knox is one of those guards. The junior has put his talent on display and schools are definitely taking note.
Christian Knox has a reputation as a shooter. Last season, he was Skyline’s third leading scorer on a team filled with offensive weapons. He can do more on the offensive end than just shoot. Knox is very athletic and has the ability to get to the basket and finish. He also has the ability to make the tough pass. Whether it be on a kick to an open shooter or an entry pass to the post, Knox can be trusted to deliver.
These skills have turned the eyes of some college coaches. Christian Knox has started to receive interest from a couple schools. “Two schools have contacted me so far. George Washington and Lafayette College,” said Knox.
He has been working to improve his strength. Christian Knox is a strong pressure defender, and increased strength will add to that dimension of his game. “I’ve been working on my strength and gaining weight all summer and I feel that will help my game tremendously,” he said.
Christian Knox is a young man with goals. “A goal I have on the court is to play professional basketball and off the court to graduate from college and have a degree,” he said. Knox looks forward to playing against Ann Arbor Huron and Ann Arbor Pioneer. “It’s always competitive and an uptempo game when we play,” said Knox.
Christian Knox is a family oriented young man who enjoys spending time with them. “My greatest motivation would be my mom because she works hard and she does her job. So she always motivates me and helped me build a great work ethic,” he said.
Christian Knox can bring a lot to the table for a college program. While George Washington and Lafayette College have expressed interest, there will be other schools added to that list in a short time.
