Diaz shares the point guard duties with Junior, [player_tooltip player_id='1361737' first='Tai' last='Turnage'], creating a dynamic backcourt duo. Diaz has the ball on a string and breaks down a defense with ease at his age. Meanwhile, Diaz is mature enough to know when to take it all the way to the rim, or look for an open shooter. Against 4-star competition, Diaz has been a pest defensively and a handful on offense. Continuing to grow with every game, Diaz at 6'1u0022 showed his bounce at Fordham University. Adding to an already deep bag.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65e73b26cc9b7"} /-->

https://twitter.com/InsideTheSoleNY/status/1765028786163069259?s=20

We will continue to monitor these players into the spring and summer. Only one, [player_tooltip player_id='2234125' first='Anderson' last='Diaz'], is still competing in the CHSAA playoffs at this time.

High School basketball is a competitive club, where hard work can overcome skill and athleticism. But, it doesn't hurt to have all three at your disposal. This group of Freshman in the CHSAA playoffs are showing everyone what it takes to compete at the highest levels of high school basketball.
