Here are some of the top guards from day two at the dome in the 4A tournament. These guys competed hard to battle for a spot in the semifinals and were clear standouts on the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450999' first='Cesar' last='Hernandez'] | Davis | 15 pts 4 rebs 7/8 FT

Pretty quiet for the first three quarters as the Skyview defense really focused on eliminating him from the game. They couldn't hold him down forever though and he came through in the fourth. When Davis needed a bucket they put it in Hernandez's hands and he immediately came through with a long, contested 3 that found nothing but net to put them up nine. Hit a couple more big shots from the field and then went to work at the foul line to seal the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1837761' first='Demaree' last='Collins'] | Skyview | 31 pts 4 stls

Gritty performance to give Davis everything they could handle. Nearly spurred the full comeback with a couple of late 3s but was getting it going all game inside and out. Can get up high for rim finishes but also showed some great footwork to euro around defenders. High activity on the defensive end too with those four steals and got plenty more tips on top of that.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450494' first='Blake' last='Forrest'] | Mount Si | 14 pts 7 ast 5 rebs 2 stls

Came out off the tip playing at a blistering pace. Each time he had the ball he was looking to go and really stays engaged through the end of the play, making some key steals and chasing down some long boards. Runs their offense so well and was feeling it from distance going 4-of-6 from 3PT.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450486' first='Trevor' last='Hennig'] | Mount Si | 17 pts 7 ast 6 rebs

Very effective operating in traffic and dribbling in the midst of lots of bodies. Is able to get going downhill and stop or change direction quickly, bursts out of moves really well and is tough finishing at the rim. Got his teammates involved later in the game and always had a lot of eyes on him with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2153068' first='Carter' last='Stonerock'] | Tahoma | 13 pts 2 ast 2 stls

Super quick and crafty getting to the rim and has a vast array of finishes to get buckets to go inside. One of the faster players at the tournament and has great focus at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450501' first='Henry' last='Sandberg'] | Gonzaga Prep | 21 pts

Started to heat up in the second quarter with some midrange shots and then came out in the third and buried some from further out. Great at creating space off the dribble and hitting those little leaners and did just about all he could in the fourth to try and keep the lead.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450981' first='Josiah' last='Lee'] | Glacier Peak | 22 pts 6 rebs

An ultra competitor who was able to get some hustle boards and capitalize on second-chance opportunities early in the game. Then really caught fire at the end from 3-point and propelled them to the win. Hit two 3s late in the fourth that forced overtime and then came out in OT to bury two more quick ones from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1927274' first='Reed' last='Nagel'] | Glacier Peak | 16 pts 6 rebs

High energy player who got it going from long-range early on. Was able to get to the rim most of the game, struggled to finish early on but got it going later with some fouls drawn and made a key steal later on that he took all the way for the two.

[player_tooltip player_id='1139155' first='Isaiah' last='Cuellar'] | Glacier Peak | 13 pts 6 rebs

He's a slasher and creator off the dribble, no doubt about it, and came up big in the second half to put pressure on the defense getting downhill. Made a couple of key plays toward the end that helped them squeak out the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863193' first='Brandon' last='Tagle'] | Kentwood | 15 pts 3 ast

Played tough and was able to get it going inside and out. Splashed in a couple of tough 3s and also used good hesi's off screens to occupy defenders and wait for lanes to open up to get to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612191' first='Josh' last='Woodard'] | Richland | 10 pts 9 ast 4 rebs 2 stls

Runs their offense so well and was able to threaten the defense and find space to make plays with his change of pace and hesitations up top. Worked well off the pick and roll to take what was available and also made several key passes over and across the defense to his guys at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375347' first='Lance' last='Horntvedt'] | Richland | 18 pts 7 rebs 8/8 FG

Did a lot of work off the catch-and-shoot and was highly effective from the midrange and 3-point. Worked hard off screens, make good reads, and played a little defense using his height to bother some shots.
