The final score of this one makes it seem like it was not as close as it was, 73-64, but this game was a battle back and forth between the St Cloud area's best two teams Thursday February 8th. Free throws late by [player_tooltip player_id='1284214' first='Tameron' last='Ferguson'] carries Tech to win the rematch from earlier this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284214' first='Tameron' last='Ferguson'] - Ferguson, the six-foot-two-inch 2024 guard from Tech is having an outstanding season. Leading the state in scoring at over 35 a game outpaced himself. Ferguson scored 46 (Friday he scored 42 as well), and did it while making one 3-pointer. Ferguson did boost his scoring making free throws late, but he's the guy you want to have the ball in those spots. Ferguson plays with excellent pace and gets seperated from defenders inside the painted area marvelously. He is an elite finisher around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579917' first='Keller' last='Hanson'] - Hanson 2025 guard from Sauk Rapids showed excellent growth as a secondary ball handler. The six-foot-five-inch sniper shooter from the outside showed some good ability to put the ball on the floor and score. He had 15 points for the Storm.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579918' first='Hudson' last='Omoke'] - Omoke is a 2025 guard from Sauk Rapids and plays for the Minnesota Comets. Omoke is a six-foot-two-inch guard but the amount of shots he blocks you'd swear he was taller. Omoke is one of the best under six-foot-three players at blocking shots. He's an excellent athlete, and strong ball handler.

[player_tooltip player_id='1293963' first='Mekhi' last='Edwards'] - Edwards fashions himself as a “big guard.” I wouldn't say the six-foot-six-inch Edwards is a guard but he certainly moves very well. Extremely swift, especially laterally with the ball, and has a good shooting stroke. Edwards is a bigger athlete, and very strong.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874863' first='Izayah' last='Cook'] - Cook is a six-foot-four-inch 2027 Freshman Forward from Sauk Rapids with loads of potential. Cook is a match-up problem on the perimeter for smaller and bigger defenders. He can shoot from distance, and has enough wiggle with his handle to go to the basket. Inside the painted area he's a good finisher too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617798' first='Spencer' last='Swenson'] - Swenson is a 2025, six-foot-six-inch junior wing from Sauk Rapids and Minnesota Comets. Swenson is long, and can use that reach defensively that could be really helpful for his team. Swenson is a good outside shooter, and in time, the Junior could be a solid threat at all times.
