Top Prospect Tyrese Haliburton Will Pick A School On Monday!
One of the top unsigned seniors in the country will come off the boards as he announced today that he will make his official college decision on Monday. The first time I got to see Tyrese was during the PowerAde Circuit Finale in Charlotte, NC, you can tell that he was a special prospect by the type of crowd of coaches that was in the building. At least 10 D1 coaches were in the building just to see him play, and once the game began you could clearly see why the coaches were in the building.
At 6’6 with long arms, and tremendous court vision you can clearly see the potential in him without a doubt, he knows how to: run a team, doesn’t turn the ball over much and can shoot it well even if his form is a bit unorthodox. The more he played this summer, the more offers he obtained and he went from being a MM prospect to High Major offer wise in a short span of time.
Now it’s decision time for Tyrese, the visits are done, the list was cut down to 5 a short time back and the school that remained where: Iowa State, UNI, Cincinnati, Minnesota and Nebraska. Each of these school are known for different styles of play but all have a rich basketball tradition and could be a good fit for Tyrese. Fans of hopeful school may ask, what will the school that gets Haliburton be getting in a player? Well on the court you’re getting a young man who has yet to reach his full potential, although he is already a special player he’s only going to get much better as time goes. Off the court you’re getting a young man that is respectful, well mannered, and will be an asset to a college program in the campus community.
