This past moth we had a lot of player do so many good things. We want to give a shoutout to [player_tooltip player_id='1384542' first='Chase' last='Degraffenried'], [player_tooltip player_id='1057035' first='Ace' last='Reiser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1057050' first='Tiger' last='Cuff'] who all had a fantastic December as well as others.

Jones has not only been lighting up the scoreboard he has been doing it in style. He has taken his level of play to a big time level. He was named MVP over at The Tarkanian Classic and he was just playing at a high level. He has some D1 offers under his belt and he is likely to get those to increase this Spring and Summer when he hits the AAU Circuits. Jones has a quick first step and when he catches the ball on the move he is tough to stay in-front of, especially with that length. Layton Christian Academy is off to an 11-2 start which is great heading into region play and they have not yet peaked and it is also safe to say that Tyrin hasn't peaked either. Look for Jones to continue to impress. [player_tooltip player_id='1575685' first='Tyrin' last='Jones'] is December's Player of the Month.

Highland over Olympus

When the year started you could say that Highland could give anyone a run for their money but Olympus has been playing very well. The production that they have been getting from [player_tooltip player_id='2284975' first='Reef' last='Smylie'] and Will Blanch. Olympus had a good look at the end of the game they just came up short. [player_tooltip player_id='1057020' first='Jordan' last='Barnes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1057034' first='Dutch' last='Dowdell'] will reset and get things going again.

Highland on the other hand has been getting some elevated play from [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'] who had an explosive night to lead his team in scoring. [player_tooltip player_id='1066745' first='Sefa' last='Brown'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1115974' first='Grayson' last='Gaddis'] came up clutch in this game. This team has so many options to go to when it comes to scoring. This might be the win they needed to launched them forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384534' first='Elijah' last='Kersey'] came to play as he was electric in the win. He had 21 points and in the last few games he has really been impressive. Box Elder also received a great game from [player_tooltip player_id='2314268' first='Trevor' last='Wilkinson'] who also dropped 20 points and has been playing well here and there. If this team can get these two to produce like that Box Elder could really surprise people.
