About Josiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High IQ point guard who can facilitate and score at all 3 levels. Pushes the pace and a pass ahead PG. Great teammate who shares the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Watching my older brother success and get to the D1 level has helped my mentality of knowing I have to put in extra work. I have to be able to get up shots, work on my handles and skills as much as possible. I want to play the best players, have a good attitude and be a role model on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Student Government, Black Infinity and Hispanic Infinity groups. I have received Kudos from teachers in various school subjects.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am constantly working on myself to become a better person, teammate and friend. I enjoy my teammates and try to support them at their events outside of basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that provides the best opportunity for me to be challenged athletically and push me academically. I want to play for a coach that believes in me and has created a family type environment.

A skilled scorer with a high basketball IQ, Wilson consistently makes winning plays and can control the pace of a game. After falling short in the postseason last year, he returns stronger and more polished, determined to push Bosque over the hump and lead his team on a deeper playoff run.
