Summer Scene: Latest News and Notes

Meanwhile, some 2026 prospects have decided on their college destination. Here are the latest news and notes:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-- 2026 Cleveland G <strong>Remy Albrecht</strong>, who was once committed to New Mexico Highlands before the recent coaching change, committed to JUCO North Idaho College in scenic Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-- 2027 Eldorado CG <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2217079' first='Charlie' last='Wills']</strong> attended the Real Hoops Florida High Academic Camp this weekend. Coaches from MIT, Williams, Carnegie-Mellon and Swarthmore College were there to evaluate players and recruit. Prior to that camp, Wills competed for ABC Spotlight at the RecruitLook event in Chicago.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-- Fort Sumner/House looks ready to defend its Class 1A title in 2026-27. The Foxes are loaded with most of their key players returning. One of them is 2027 guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2833891' first='Jordan' last='Holland']</strong>, who is playing for Texas-based Team Blessed on the Summer AAU circuit. At the recent RecruitLook Hoops event in Chicago, Holland scored 25 points, dished out 5 assists, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 4 steals on defense. Holland is also one of the leaders and top performers on Fort Sumner's state championship winning 8-man football team. Holland was named a Top Performer at the RL Hoops Events in Nashville. La Cueva CG <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3581634' first='Drew' last='Bramlett']</strong> was also impressive at the same Chicago event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>-- 2028 Bosque CG <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2309741' first='Josiah' last='Wilson']</strong> excelled at the same RecruitLook Hoops event in Chicago. Playing for ABC Spotlight, the 6-foot-3 Wilson scored 21 points in one game.
