Top five deep dive for the class of 2025

There was much movement at the top of the 2025 rankings. With nationally ranked prospects throughout, several prospects have cemented themselves as must know names on recruiting trails. Here's a breakdown for Floridas to junior prospects.    Boozer is arguably the top junior in the nation. As a 6'9 forward with real wing skills, he brings a ton of versatility to the court. He's a high level rebounder, a top big man passer, and has made strides as a jump shooter. While still developing physically, he's one of the strongest players in his class. It helps him carve out space on the block, opening up playmaking and scoring in the paint.    I first watched Acuff at the NBPA Top 100 camp in July, where he blew away the field as a scorer. He flashed playmaking throughout the week, but his ability to score on all three levels was undeniable. I watched him again at The City of Palms, where even as the number 2 prospect in the state, I felt he was too low. Still a scorer at his core, he's using his gravity to make plays for others. He has great vision on the move, making him a great pick and roll partner that can hurt defenses.    Thiam's physical tools alone make him a top prospect in the class. He's a lengthy 7'1 center who runs the floor like a deer. He combines high level shot blocking with range to the college three. He has a broad frame that will fill out as he matures. With his touch around the rim and feel for the game, there are so many tools for the UCF commit to work with.    Jones is one of the best pure athletes in the class. As a member of Oak Ridge's talented group, he's pushing around on defense, a consistent weapon on the break, and a relentless slasher in the half court. With the talent and pace around him, he's back to throwing no look dime and darts to teammates. He gets to the line at a high rate and shows a constant strike at the free-throw line.    There may not be a better scorer in the state than Abaev. As a 6'8 combo guard who seamlessly slips between positions while giving you the level scoring. He's been a 40+% shooter for his entire high school career. Abaev can get hot in a hurry and get where he wants on the floor thanks to a crafty handle. His strides on the defensive end have made him a complete two way player.
