It wouldn’t be a total surprise to catch Kannon McBride Kannon McBride 6’2″ | SG Croatan | 2027 State NC on the varsity squad over at Croatan High given his talent level. He’s got uber confidence shooting the ball from anywhere on the floor and still has a ton of room to grow in the backcourt as a combo guard. Look for him to grow on the NCHSAA stage this season.
Cockerham is set to really boost an up-and-coming Cardinal Gibbons High squad who could utilize his size and versatility in the rotation. He’s a presence at 6-foot-3 who’s capable of operating inside and out given his skill set and athleticism. He had a productive summer with Team Trezz on the independent scene.
Keith is a young prospect over at Cary High who should see some early minutes in the varsity rotation given his ability to operate at either guard role. He’s got nice range on his shot and can handle ball pressure off the bounce with ease after a productive summer with Garner Road .
Lowe is a sharpshooter in the 2027 class at Jordan High who should turn heads this season given his recent development. He’s got a good feel for handling and shooting the ball and underrated athleticism as well. He spent the spring/summer on the EYBL stage with Team United as well.
