Gibson is fresh off a Peach Jam title after winning one this past summer with Team United on the EYBL 14U stage. He still managed to play up with their 15U squad in the early going as well, posting 11.3 PPG, 2.0 RPG and 1.9 APG on 59.4 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep. He should be a tremendous piece alongside Zion Walker Zion Walker 6’2″ | PG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC as he begins his high school career with The Burlington School.
Baird is another high-level prospect in the 2027 class with a bright future ahead of him at Quality Education Academy. He’s a strong-framed guard who can attack with tremendous pressure when making paint touches and is even more of a presence defending on the opposite end. He’s a competitor in the 336 area to get to know.
Grier is another name who won a Peach Jam crown, though his came with Team CP3 on the 15U stage as he moves into the 2027 class. He’s a name due to grow as an all-around guard/wing prospect given his size and athleticism at 6-foot-3. Look for him to play a big role in their success on the NCISAA stage this year.
Harris is an intriguing name to keep an eye on out of the Triad area at East Forsyth High this season. He’s a versatile guard who isn’t afraid to do a little bit of everything when he’s on the hardwood. He’s shown he can operate inside and out given his ability to handle the ball and knock down shots in space. It wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see him play a role on both JV and varsity this upcoming year given his abilities.
Higgins is a 2027 name with an advanced guard skill set already at his disposal as he heads into his freshman season at West Forsyth High. He’s shown he can operate as a high-volume shooter and distributor with his ability to set the pace with his length and skill set in the open floor. He may spend some early time on JV but he’s certainly one to get to know in the area over the next few seasons.
