Prospect Spotlight: 2018 Prince Campbell (Video)
Prince Campbell is a player who was silently one of the key contributors for Sophie B. Wright but is now on the move to play in Texas. Earlier this summer, the 6-foot-5 prospect enrolled at Mexia, a school about an hour south of Dallas, and said he expects to be a key piece in the team’s offensive attack.
Campbell held down the paint for the Warriors and allowed both 2019s Damiree Burns and Charlie Russell to have more of an impact on the wing. Campbell is most effective in midrange territory with a super reliable jumper and also has great touch around the rim.
He has long arms that allow him to snatch rebounds over defenders and finish above the rim. He’s also al good passer out of the post and is a capable shooter from 3-point range as well.
Here’s a look at Campbell over the summer with Sophie B. Wright and his grassroots team, Bo McCalebb Select.
