This list includes players from both the 2016 and 2018 class in the form of Dylan Hoyt, John Norvel, Eric Reed, and Eli Mouton. These four we will break down to continue the recaps.
Dylan Hoyt 2016 Guard Albany
Hoyt is one of those players who continue to improve each time you see him. At the combine it was about being more aggressive for him. The skill set and athletic ability is there but as he becomes more comfortable in an environment and gets aggressive, you really see what he's capable of. He can shoot it from deep or run a team and should be on radars of any non D1.
John Norvel 2016 Point Guard Salmen
Norvel's health seems to be fully back by the numbers he put up at the combine. The Salmen point guard is surely poised for a big season in 2015-2016 and that should bring college coaches calling. He was very consistent throughout his play on the court again and showed off both his scoring and play-making abilities.
Eric Reed 2018 Point Guard University
Reed may have been the most surprising when it comes to his athletic results from the combine. His skill has has been evolving and there is no doubt he can play but we suspect when the results come out, he'll open some eyes big time. That type of athleticism and ability at the point guard position is a scary combination for a sophomore. UHigh's future at that position looks to be in good hands.
Eli Mouton 2018 Point Guard Ascension Episcopal
There is no doubt that Eli Mouton was the breakout player at the combine and that's not a slight at all to how he's played in the past. It was the first real shot to see the currently undersized point guard play. He dazzled throughout the event with his ball handling and ability to get shots off. Where he really shocked was when it was time to show off his athleticism. Players, coaches, and staff alike took notice.
