Butler is one of the top shooters in the 2024 class still available with another season on the horizon at Grace Christian School in Sanford. He’s a strong-framed wing prospect who currently holds an offer from Elizabeth City State that can shoot the ball with efficiency from a variety of levels on the floor. He’s an unsigned senior prospect who should blossom in 2023-24.
Dillon is another underrated floor general and shooter in the HoopState out of Veritas Christian Academy. He’s capable of operating at either guard role given his ability to knock down shots and dish the ball off the bounce. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on in the Western part of NC.
Highlights
Anderson is an intriguing combo guard given his length and athleticism at 6-foot-3 at Quality Education Academy to get eyes on. He’s an active presence in the backcourt that can initiate offense for himself and others with his ability to handle the ball and shoot. He holds an offer from North Carolina A&T headed into his final year of high school ball.
Hammonds is an active guard prospect set to make quite the splash in the Ardrey Kell rotation in 2023-24. He’s an all-around guard prospect who can run the show and find his own offense with ease as he looks to grow into a bigger role for the Purple Knights. DII programs in the region would be wise to get eyes on him given his abilities in the backcourt.rn
Highlights
Alston is an underrated floor general in the state at NC Good Better Best Academy to keep an eye on. He’s a two-way floor general presence learning to set a tone with his ability to shoot the ball and defend. He recently decommitted from Mount Olive University after a head coaching change on their staff. Randolph Macon, Winston Salem State and University of Wisconsin Superior have started to show interest.
