Anderson was key to his group’s extension of the lead in the second half, and made some buckets at crucial points in the game. He’s a lefty combo guard who’s really smooth with the ball in his hands, and knows how to make the right decision off the bounce. Good finisher around the rim that relies on finesse and an ability to find a crack in the defense. Solid shooter who made a couple of jump shots in big moments.

Anderson is an intriguing combo guard given his length and athleticism at 6-foot-3 at Quality Education Academy to get eyes on. He’s an active presence in the backcourt that can initiate offense for himself and others with his ability to handle the ball and shoot. He holds an offer from North Carolina A&T headed into his final year of high school ball.

Anderson logged valuable minutes for his Upward Stars group this week, showing off his multifaceted offensive game and ability to impact a game on defense as well. He’s an impressive athlete with his shiftiness and ability to quickly beat a closeout or defenders hip. If you give him a cushion, he is looking better in knocking down jumpers, with more lift and a more repeatable shot motion. Does a lot of competing and adding energy on defense, using that same athleticism to keep himself in front of others and compete the whole time. While his team didn’t have the best games when I watched them, Anderson was one of the best teammates, most engaged, and most energetic no matter the score. He is a competitor and gamer that should get more offers soon.

Jermaurhiyun Anderson Jermaurhiyun Anderson 6'2" | PG Quality Education | 2024 State NC has been quite the presence in the Upward Stars 3SSB backcourt this season. He’s a prospect out of Quality Education Academy that continues to show his growth/development as quite the sizeable combo guard. He’s a 6-foot-4 name that’s shown he can operate in a variety of ways as a facilitator and shot-maker. He’s got nice upside as a combo guard that can finish with authority as well. Colleges in the region would be wise to get eyes on him!

Anderson came up big time after time this weekend. Jermaurhiyun is a left-handed guard who can score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor at times. He showed a nice mid-range jumper after dropping some tough contested 3-pointers. Anderson will shake and bake to the cup and show a nice 1-2 dribble pullup at times.

Anderson originally from Greenville, SC is in his second season with the Fighting Pharaohs. He scored 12 points in the championship game vs Mount Zion Christian Academy.

Anderson is set to make quite the impact in the Quality Education Academy rotation in 2022-23, so much so he’s seen his ranking jump drastically from No. 148 to No. 58 given the potential impact he’ll bring to their backcourt and the wing. He produced 10.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.4 apg and 1.5 spg as a sophomore for the Pharoahs.
