Defensively, Davis got after it from the point of attack and worked hard on the defensive end. His pressure helped cause turnovers and get his team out on the fast break, which is where he found his most success with the ball in his hands. Slashing to the paint as a lefty getting to the rim, Davis scored from the paint on Saturday. After scoring 6 PPG as a freshman, Stalzer built on that momentum and had a strong showing on Saturday. Hitting some tough shots off the bounce with some step-back 3-pointers and other pull-up shots. Knocking down perimeter jumpers from all over the floor, Stalzer also converted from the corner to stretch the defense. This lefty guard was quick and made some plays off the bounce to either score for himself or set a teammate up. Despite his size, Wilkinson also got an offensive rebound and putback in the paint, showing his grit. His most impressive move of the day was when he jump stopped and used a pump fake to get his defender in the air before going around him with a lefty floater shot. Shot the ball with confidence and moved without the ball to free up space to fire away from downtown. At the first half horn he hit a 25 footer and continued this momentum in the second half with a handful of above the break 3-pointers. With decent size from the wing and the ability to attack a closeout from the wing and finish with his right hand on the left side, French was scoring the ball in a variety of ways. After scoring 14.5 PPG and knocking down 70 3-pointers as a Sophomore, it wouldn't be out of the question for French to approach triple figures in made triples this winter.
