A player who competed at the Prep Hoops Expo in the fall, Stalzer can score efficiently and play a role on the wing. I also caught Stalzer in the spring with Shining Star and will make him a priority to watch in the spring if I can’t make it to a Mariemont high school game in the winter.

A player who came to our Prep Hoops 250 expo, this was my first chance to see Stalzer with an organized group. I walked away impressed with his perimeter scoring ability, Stalzer got to his spots off the bounce and made some difficult shots against a more talented opponent. Winning their pool play group was an impressive achievement for Shining Star Price 16 U as they have a couple future college level players including Stalzer.

Stalzer is a new name to us but after looking up what he did as a freshman, he’s a guy who will soon be a household name in southwest Ohio. After scoring 6 PPG as a freshman, Stalzer built on that momentum and had a strong showing on Saturday. Hitting some tough shots off the bounce with some step-back 3-pointers and other pull-up shots. Knocking down perimeter jumpers from all over the floor, Stalzer also converted from the corner to stretch the defense. I expect Stalzer to jump into the double figures in PPG as a Sophomore and continue to round out his game.
