French came to the Prep Hoops 250 Expo and got buckets from downtown. That’s what he does best as he’s already connected on 23 3-pointers for Miami Valley Christian Academy after making 70 as a Sophomore. His scoring is also up from his Sophomore season and his team is 5-4 and on pace to beat their 8-17 mark they had last season. French is a small school prospect with big time shooting ability from southwest Ohio.

French had one of the highest scoring games of any prospect I saw on Saturday by catching fire from 3-point range. At the first half horn he hit a 25 footer and continued this momentum in the second half with a handful of above the break 3-pointers. With decent size from the wing and the ability to attack a closeout from the wing and finish with his right hand on the left side, French was scoring the ball in a variety of ways. After scoring 14.5 PPG and knocking down 70 3-pointers as a Sophomore, it wouldn’t be out of the question for French to approach triple figures in made triples this winter. One of the more under the radar elite shooters in the greater Cincinnati area.
