He is a lead guard who handles pressure. Wilkinson does great work with the rock. He is a knockdown shooter from mid-range and is smart about getting to his spots. Kamaree has great court vision and sees the help-side defenders. Wilkinson is a lefty guard, a crafty scorer, and he hoops with a ton of confidence.

Wilkinson is a nicely skilled guard. He makes shots at a high level. He is a really fun player to watch when the ball is going in. He becomes more involved in the game and then starts to take over the game. He showed the ability to score but also affected the game in other ways. He showed some really good defense and just control of the game. He showed some true pass-first point guard skill that was a pleasant surprise.

In what might’ve been the tightest game of the night, JH95 managed to hold off WestSide Elite in a thrilling game. Wilkinson was providing scoring in bunches as he was extremely comfortable working in the mid-range area of the court. In the closing minutes of the game Wilkinson hit a pull-up 3-pointer with a defender in his face and had a lefty and-1 layup to extend his team’s lead. Wilkinson has the ability to be one of the top guards in the Columbus City League next season.

A standout at our Expo showcase in the fall last year, I’m excited to see where Wilkinson has taken a leap for JH95 this spring.

After attending the Prep Hoops Expo showcase in the fall, Wilkinson got on my radar as an underrated guard in Columbus. He followed that up with multiple impressive performances this winter which led him to being named honorable mention all city. The lefty can play with pace and has the ability to make plays off the bounce. The Nubians have a mostly junior core and could return as Columbus City League favorites and Division V state title threats next season.

Nobody on the court played better than Wilkinson did on Tuesday night. He was great the entirety of the game and his impact was felt throughout. He shot the ball well all night. Made tough shots and had an effective midrange pull-up game. He made some difficult shots. He did a great job of exploding to the rim and finishing in transition. He was not forcing anything and just let the game come to him. This was a fast and hectic game but when Wilkinson had the ball in his hands, they had control of it. An impressive all-around complete game from Wilkerson.

Wilkinson had the short drive to Fieldhouse USA coming from Columbus and he made a lot of plays in the one game I caught of his team. This lefty guard was quick and made some plays off the bounce to either score for himself or set a teammate up. Despite his size, Wilkinson also got an offensive rebound and putback in the paint, showing his grit. His most impressive move of the day was when he jump stopped and used a pump fake to get his defender in the air before going around him with a lefty floater shot. Look for Wilkinson to make some noise in the Columbus City League over the next few years.
