Bowman was a prospect I had heard good things about after his Junior season but finally got the chance to focus on him at the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League. There I was able to see his unique ability to handle and run the offense for his size, making plays off the bounce for himself and others. I thought Bowman looked the part of a priority small college recruit and already this season Bowman has a game winning shot against Buckeye Valley.

A teammate with Ediger in the back-court, Bowman showed off his impressive handle and athleticism for his size. Also a dangerous 3-point shooter from downtown, Bowman is one of the most talented prospects in the Licking County League. He will make his debut in our next rankings update as well.

A new name to watch, Bowman is a name that I’ve seen on all conference and all state lists, but Saturday was my first chance to focus on his game in person. I was really impressed with his ball handling ability for his size, with some legit creation ability off the bounce at 6’4. Bowman also had a couple stretches of red hot 3-point shooting from off the catch. With his length, Bowman also had a couple steals and scores in transition. I think regional Division III schools should be paying close attention to Bowman this winter.
