Senior Salute 2017: #26–50
| Jesse | Bergh | 6’10 | C | Lake Park-Audubon | MN St-Moorhead | Big, big, big man from small-town LPA quietly signed with Moorhead, which could be an absolute steal. |
| Parker | Fox | 6’6 | SF | Mahtomedi | Northern State | The Mahtomedi Dunk Hunter racked up plenty of NAIA offers before finding his home at Northern State. I’ll always remember his play during the Zephyrs’ section semifinal comeback win vs. Totino-Grace. |
| Andrew | Kallman | 6’3 | SG | Chaska | Northern State | Tall, lanky sniper who bloomed late and snagged a scholly from Northern. Part of a legendary AAU squad that surprised everyone. |
| Chase | Grinde | 6’4 | SF | Spring Grove | Sioux Falls | Hard. Work. Grinde is just one letter away from “grinder,” and that’s a great word to describe him with. Small-town kid who impressed us with his effort and energy each time we watched. |
| Mitchell | Sueker | 6’8 | SF | Marshall | SD School of Mines | Long and skilled forward who helped bring Marshall all the way to the AAA semifinals. Smart and interesting kid who will do well at the D2 level. |
| Broc | Finstuen | 6’5 | SF | Pine Island | Central Wyoming CC | Strong and physical wing who will no doubt develop out west. Best player from P.I. in a long time. |
| Dedoch | Chan | 6’7 | PF | Rochester JM | Mississippi Gulf Coast CC | Talented forward who put up numbers in Albert Lea before transferring to JM. Keep your eyes on him down south. |
| Jameson | Bryan | 5’11 | PG | Eastview | Augustana | Augustana offers a select number of players during their junior year, guys who they really want. Jameson was one of those. He’s deliberate, smart, dynamic. |
| Lamarr | Wood | 6’7 | PF | Mpls Patrick Henry | Lake Region State | 6-foot-7 and long, Wood came in from Chicago and quickly became the center of Patrick Henry’s paint. Lake Region should be excited to work with Lamarr. |
| Derek | Thompson | 6’7 | PF | Rocori | Bemidji State | Talented at several sports, Thompson chose Bemidji State after averaging over 18.4 PPG for Rocori. |
| Jimmy | Vollbrecht | 6’8 | PF | Jordan | Minnesota-Duluth | Vollbrecht and the guy above him, Thompson, both put their skills on display as long forwards for Comets Lewis AAU before signing in the NSIC. Great kid who will do well at Duluth. |
| Zac | Olson | 6’5 | SF | WEM | U of Mary | Shorter than your normal PF at the college level, but NSICs loved him as a versatile forward who can muscle in the paint. |
| Kade | Hart | 6’9 | PF | Faribault | Bemidji State | Not only does BSU add Thompson, but they get Kade Hart as another 6-8+ forward with skill. The former QB wowed us with Magic in 16U when he broke onto the scene. |
| Jack | Hutchison | 6’1 | SG | Maple Grove | Iowa State (walk-on) | Hutch will bring his shooting ability to Iowa State as a walk-on. There’s no doubt they’re getting a top-notch teammate, as well. |
| Noah | Gindorff | 6’6 | PF | Crosby-Ironton | NDSU (football) | Gindorff, a big forward who helped C-I give Minneapolis North some trouble during the Class A title game, is off to NDSU as a highly-recruited tight end. |
| JaQuan | Sanders-Smith | 6’1 | PG | Mpls North | Western Nebraska | Shifty state champion point guard Jaquan Sanders-Smith is off to Western Nebraska where he will hope to follow Vinny Shahid, another area kid who recently earned a D1 offer there. “Foenem!” |
| Cody | Carlson | 6’8 | C | Duluth East | Concordia-St. Paul | Although he flew under the radar during AAU, Carlson averaged 19 PPG for the Greyhounds and signed with CSP. |
| Oakley | Baker | 6’5 | SF | NRHEG | St. John’s (MN) | NRHEG fan favorite Oakley Baker is joining an increasingly scary lineup at SJU. Watch out for him in the MIAC as one of the top MN D3 commits in this class. |
| Ryan | Lindberg | 6’2 | SG | Wayzata | St. Thomas | Knockdown shooter. Lindberg hit shots for Comets Lewis and helped Wayzata get back to state for the first time in a million years. Watch out for him receiving passes on the wing and bombing 3s in the MIAC for years to come. |
| Jeremiah | Coddon | 6’1 | PG | Woodbury | Northeast Nebraska CC | Jeremiah is off to Northeast Nebraska with his 14 PPG for Woodbury. Look for him to develop into further scholarship offers. |
| Rob | McClain | 6’4 | SF | Red Lake | St. Thomas | After talk that the super-athletic McClain would simply attend a D1 as a student, it sounds like he is off to UST where he could emerge in a few years as a truly scary athlete. |
| Zach | Hanson | 6’5 | PF | New Prague | St. John’s (MN) | Great grab for SJU. Hanson converts very well at the rim and turned down D2 opportunities to join coach McKenzie. |
| Jordan | Lynn | 6’2 | PG | Mpls Henry | Lake Region State | Lynn will join his brother Lamarr Wood at Lake Region and hope for the same success that Minnesota-born guard Cedric Boone is experiencing there. Great kid with lots of potential. |
| Dillon | Haider | 6’1 | PG | Melrose | Jamestown | Haider hit shot after shot for Melrose, and he joins a big and robust recruiting class at Jamestown to do the same thing. |
| Brock | Schrom | 6’6 | PF | Grand Rapids | Jamestown | Schrom complemented Jake Skelly with 15 PPG of his own. The big man will face off against his former teammate in the same NAIA conference very soon. |
| Jake | Guse | 6’8 | C | Waseca | MSU-Mankato | Guse latched on with Mankato after courting several NAIA offers. Big kid who developed well with Mitch Ohnstad for MN Select. |
