Big Shots MB Standouts: WBC Elite
The WBC Elite squad had a very impressive spring and summer, dominating numerous teams and showing their talent to college coaches from all levels. Their showing at Myrtle Beach was no different, here are some of the members of the squad that stood out:
WBC Elite 2020 Jahiem Marshall: Played well throughout, has a nice mixture of flair and substance to his game, he’s a gifted passer as well as ball handler. Has a very high amount of potential, can score the ball and doesn’t mind defending.
WBC Elite 2020 Jordan McNeill: You have to search far and wide to find a player in the 2020 class that has more toughness than Jordan does. When he steps on the floor he brings the attitude that he’s not backing down from anyone and his skillset is very advanced for his age. He can shoot the ball with high consistency from deep but doesn’t mind going inside against the bigs, D1 schools should be tracking him.
WBC Elite 2019 Braylan Grice: You can tell that he spends a good amount of time on the football field, he loves physical contact and flat out ran over some of the players he matched up with. He rebounded the ball at a high rate and made offensive and defensive plays above the rim.
WBC Elite 2020 Guard Jajuan Carr: Quick and athletic guard, one of the most unselfish players and best teammates that you will see. He only cares about winning but has a gift to score the ball in multiple ways, very high potential.
WBC Elite 2019 Joshua McKenney: College coaches should take a trip down to South Brunswick HS to check this young man out. He’s a legit 6’6 with an impressive skillset, he’s very athletic and showed it throughout the games. One of the plays that comes to memory was a two handed dunk that he threw down in the first half over an opponent that grabbed the attention of the entire crowd.
