The physical development of Cross Jr. has really helped to improve his stock heading into the summer. Always known as an elite catch-and-shoot threat, the 6’2″ guard has bulked up physical and can now really run the point. His ball handling is sound, he is strong enough now to play through some contact, and his confidence off of the dribble is much higher. Look for more scholarship offers to come his way in the coming months playing with Grand Rapids Storm 17u.

has a chance to be a very special player as his high school career continues to roll on. The combination of length, feel, shooting ability, and just being an overall playmaker on the ball makes him jump out. To touch on his shooting a bit more, his jumper is so smooth that every time he shoots it, it feels like it is going in. An athletic, long, and playmaker of a guard is hard to come by and this exactly what Cross Jr. is.

Dating back to the summer we’ve seen this Top 25 Class of 2027 prospect put up some big performances. He had an excellent freshman season at Bloomington High School North as well. On Friday against South Dearborn he was put in a position where he really had to carry the Cougars on the offensive end and he was up for the task. Cross Jr. finished with 24 points in the game which including a flurry of three-point shots early in the game to set the tone. He can flat out shoot/score the basketball.
