Moore had a nice summer on the Grassroots Circuit while picking up a few offers along the way. Robert led the Cyclones in scoring last summer and some of that play spilled over to the Grassroots season with Upward Stars SE 3SSB 3SSB 2025.
Moore excels in being a 3-level scorer at times. Robert will keep defenders honest with his shot making from the perimeter. He certainly can pile up some points in a hurry at times.
King will be a nice addition to the SCISA ranks and for the Cardinals. Amarii transferred over from nearby Keenan HS to play both football and basketball for the Red and White.
King brings a pit-bull attitude at times and toughness to the floor. He really works on the defensive end of the floor when it comes to defending the ball. Amarii will take a charge on command at times it seems. King and the Cardinals really could contest for a SCISA Class 4A State Championship this season on the hardwood.
Shawn has seemed to grow a little bit since we seen him last during the season with the Barons. Matthews ran with Upward Stars SE 3SSB Pee Dee 16U on the Grassroots Circuit.
Shawn has good size for a guard and build so far for his age. Matthews averaged 10.2 ppg and 4.4 rebounds last season for the Barons and Head Coach Rip Ripley.
Matthews plays the game with a bit of chip on his shoulder at times. He will look to attack the cup at times or simply pull-up for a jumper. Can the Barons surprise some folks in SCISA Class 4A this coming season?
Hendrix isn’t very big in size at all, but he makes up for it with his swagger at times. Brayden plays the game to the fullest at all times and surely has no problems competing all game long on both ends of the court.
Hendrix has the ability to create his own shot on the floor. He certainly will take some tough shots at times but generally shoots the ball at a good clip from downtown. The Saints will be in the thick of things come this February in SCISA Class 3A.
Highlights
Dukes is a new name for SCISA fans this season down in North Charleston. Dukes a left-handed forward previously attended Stall HS where he averaged 18.8 ppg and 6.9 rebounds last season at the Class 5A level.
Kevin plays the game using his body and overpowering defenders down low at times. He is a bit deceptive at times with his ability to finish around the bucket. Dukes has great hands to catch anything in his direction. He thrives on playing on contact and bullying defenders down low.
Dukes is the ultimate mismatch guy especially now at the SCISA Class 1A level.
Humphries is back for another year on a veteran based team for the Barons. Hugh has the ability to play inside-out with his slender-sleek frame. The left-handed Humphries looks to still be growing for sure and filling out his frame.
Hugh averaged 10 ppg and 6.8 rebounds last season for the Barons. He can put the ball on the deck and slash to the cup at times or simply knockdown a perimeter jumper. Humphries feels quite comfortable at times handling the rock out top.
Loadholt is back for the Raiders with fellow teammate Nasir Void. The Raiders play in SCISA Class 1A down in Blackville.
Colson averaged 16.3 ppg, 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists last season for the Raiders.
Void is currently playing football for the Raiders and Head Coach Anthony Reitenour. Void started off his career at Clarendon Hall before following over Reitenour a season ago to the Raiders. Reitenour coaches both football and basketball at Jefferson Davis Academy.
Nasir usually plays around the paint and brings a blue-collar mindset to the table. Most of his points and activity comes close to the basket on putbacks. Nasir really lacks a true position on the floor. He averaged 11.9 ppg and 11.4 rebounds last season for the Raiders on the hardwood.
Gresham was a nice addition for the Generals last season when he arrived. AJ played really well this summer with the Generals and with Coastal Select on the Grassroots Circuit. Gresham is an athletic guard who averaged 11 ppg in 19 games last season for the Generals when he got eligible to play.
The Generals fell to St John’s Christian Academy in the SCISA Class 2A State Championship last season 55-52.
Gresham excels in a fast-paced style of play at times. He can create his own shot or simply take the ball to the cup while dropping an occasional floater.
Highlights
Wilson will look to lead a new look Titans program this coming season. Landon a scrappy guard has no problems playing his tail off while on the floor. He will make some tough shots on the floor and certainly has no problems being a capable on the ball defender. Landon plays the game vocally and in a very competitive mindset.
