<p>On Monday night, Miami Norland 6-7 four-star power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1055745' first='Marcus' last='Allen'] announced his college decision on the 247 Sports YouTube Channel. </p>

<p>Allen chose to commit to the Southeastern Conference and the Missouri Tigers where he is the second commit in the Class of 2024, as he joins four-star point guard T.O Barrett from Link Academy.</p>

<p>Allen chose the Tigers over Arkansas, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and Stanford. Allen held over 20 D-1 offers throughout the recruitment process.</p>

<p>Allen is a hard-nosed two-way player who brings elite defense to match up with his offense every time he steps out onto the floor. He can defend against guards and against bigs at a high level where he brings his length and ability to move around the perimeter. </p>

<p>Allen is also an above-average rebounder to create extra possessions and can finish efficiently around the rim. Offensively, Allen plays with a ton of physicality who can pull up from the mid-range and shoot from the perimeter on occasion. </p>

<p>During the EYBL Circuit, Allen played for the Florida Rebels where he averaged 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and nearly a block per game. He was teammates with 6-5 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1055791' first='Karter' last='Knox'], 6-8 senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1125933' first='Liam' last='McNeeley'], 6-6 senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1055776' first='Tyler' last='Johnson'] and 6-3 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1167935' first='Elijah' last='Elliott'].</p>

<p>Allen spent his junior season playing for national-powerhouse AZ Compass Prep before moving back to South Florida earlier in the summer where he'll be back at Miami Norland. He rejoins the Vikings where he will be teammates with 6-6 senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1163363' first='Triston' last='Wilson'] and 6-0 senior combo guard Isaiah St. Preux.</p>
