Pretty was anything but Pretty this summer with his play. He was NASTY at times with his play around the basket. He had a good Grassroots season with Carolina Pressure .
Jaylen finishes it seems like everything around the basket and has the ability to step-out to the short corner for good measure. He has GREAT hands to catch anything thrown in his direction. Pretty keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. He works through contact very well down in the paint.
Pfister missed the SCBCA #SCLive Camp when he was out after a golf cart incident. He ran on the Grassroots Circuit with Team SC. Jack understands where his bread is buttered. He can step out and knockdown the short jumper.
Jack will work for position down low with his back to the basket. At times Pfister plays bigger than his size on the hardwood and seems to have no problems rebounding over bigger defenders.
Sims seems to be at his best playing around the paint area for the Timberwolves. Seth has good length and versatility to move around from side to side. He will play with his back to the basket and work for position.
Sims runs the floor well and easily beats bigger post players down the court with his athleticism.
Moorer surely looks the part for the Bruins. Terrence plays football in the fall for the defending Class 4A State Champs. He’s a TWEENER who can get by bigger defenders with his quick feet and ability to finish around the basket.
Moorer is a tough matchup at times with his play and willingness to play physical. He’s a very solid piece to this Bruins roster this season in Class 4A.
Wilson is an undersized post for sure for the Flashes down in Florence County. Travis helped the Flashes get to the Class 1A State Championship in Football before falling to Christ Church.
Travis isn’t flashy at all by no means in the paint. He brings a blue-collar mindset to the table for the Flashes. Wilson looks and enjoys playing the game through contact.
Jason surely won’t take his 5 fouls home with him every night. He plays the game very hard and at all times. Britschge is a great team guy who will be a mover-screener on the floor, go grab a rebound through traffic or simply just hustle every play while in the game.
Jason still at times must finish better around the cup but, he does make himself available down low on the block with his ability to receive the ball in the paint.
Highlights
KJ is as rugged as they come playing the game down in the paint for his size. He’s not flashy but he does bring results to the table. Stephens will for use all of his fouls on a given night, knock a defender on the floor, take a charge or simply just rebound the basketball on both ends. KJ will deliver on putbacks around the cup for his scoring efforts.
Stanley is like a bulldozer down low in the paint. He will knock your head off at times with his play around the paint. TJ thrives on contact and embraces it at all times for his Horry Select Grassroots team or his high school team.
Stanley plays at North Myrtle Beach HS for Head Coach Ryan Walker. He plays with some swagger and a lot of confidence down in the paint. He surely won’t look to backdown from anyone while in the game.
Williams is a left-handed post for the Cougars. Nick brings a good frame to the table and a willingness to knock around some defenders at times. He plays the game extremely hard down low on the block.
