At 6'7 he was giving up some height, but made up for it with his scrappiness constantly fighting for position on the block to make entry passes difficult. He was getting under their skin with his constant fight for position, and ability to wall up to just get a piece of the ball as they went up to shoot. Blocked a handful of shots while altering some more looks at the rim. Showcased good touch around the basket with the willingness to turn over either shoulder and utilize both hands. He's an impressive athlete at 6'9, and it showed as he exploded off the floor for a pair of dunks at the end of the game to close out the win in style. Combining for over 50 points, he was a force anytime he caught in/near the paint. Was able to just power his way up to the basket to finish, and was relentless following up misses on the offensive glass. Mobile forward at 6'7 who runs the floor hard and is quick off the floor to dunk or swat shots. Flashed an outside jumper with two 3', and also had a few times he beat his man off the dribble to get to the rim and finish. In the 17u title game, he was making life difficult for a pair of D1 commits with his fight for position and the strength he packs into a lean frame. Came up huge in the final minute of the game with a clutch rebound in traffic as the ball was getting tipped around and he was the one finally able to secure it. Offensively he makes the most of his chances off of dump-off passes as he's an efficient finisher inside. Strong frame allows him to bulldoze his way through contact to finish inside, as well as rebound at a high level. He also showed the more skilled side to his game as he could face up, recognize his man sagging off a bit, and pull up for a short/mid-range jumper along the baseline. In a tight game against Real Phenom, he helped spark a run that saw Sanford Sports just take the game over in the end. At 6'9-6'10 he had a big size advantage over his man, as well as a strong frame that allowed him to get some physical buckets in the paint. He's a solid athlete as well, and threw down a pair of dunks just stepping in from the dunker spot. Those plays gave his team a ton of momentum moving forward. Defenders just couldn't contain his blend of strength, agility, and touch at 6'8. Showed a nice spin move to get off his shot in the lane, but could also play some bully ball and just work his man under the rim before powering up to finish. You wouldn't expect a 6'8 player to move as well as Ross does, but he's able to bring his man out to the perimeter and then show a quick burst to beat him off the dribble and get to the basket.
