Theo Schofield — PF — Wisconsin Academy
Schofield has had a great summer. He will look to cap off his great AAU campaign this weekend in Minneapolis. The Wisconsin Academy power forward has elite offensive tools. He shoots well, has shown improved ball-handling skills, and is awesome as a scorer in the paint. Look out for Schofield at the Hard Work Region Finals.
Ty Pflughaupt — SG — Iowa Prep
Pflghaupt is really fun to watch on the offensive end of the court. The shooting guard has great positional size and skill. The Iowa Prep product has a smooth three-point jump shot. which puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenders. He also is capable of scoring when plays break down. He is a solid ball handler and has good upper-body strength. Pflughaupt has no problem putting the ball on the floor and scoring at the rim.
JT Rock — C — Sanford Sports
I would be surprised if Rock doesn’t dominate at the Hard Work Region Finals. The 7-foot-1 center has the potential to become a dominant post player at the college level. He sets solid screens and rolls well to the basket. Rock also has shown flashes of becoming a really good defender. Rock rebounds and blocks shots at a high level.
Logan Rindfleisch — SF — Closed Gyms
I am expecting Rindfleisch to have a huge high school season for Wisconsin Lutheran this winter. The 6-foot-5 small forward is a jack-of-all-trades. He guards multiple positions, scores from all three levels, and rebounds. Rindfleisch makes winning plays. Look for him to lead his team to a deep run this weekend.
Dallas Wallin — SF — Northwest Elite
Wallin’s game is a lot of fun to watch. When he is on, he is on. The small forward is gifted physically. He stands at around 6-foot-4 and has the strength to match. When he slashes to the cup, Wallin is able to muscle through contact. He has put up huge numbers this AAU season. I expect nothing short of standout stat lines from Wallin in Minnesota
Dawson Bunke — SF — MN Rise
Bunke has really impressed scouts this summer with his two-way prowess. The Minnesota Rise standout guards well and is capable of putting up big-time scoring numbers. Defensively, the small forward uses his size, length, and athleticism to play excellent on-ball defense. On offense, Bunke is a gifted slasher who can blow by opposing defenders with ease.
Sawyer Schipper — SG — Wisconsin Academy
Schipper is a critical glue guy for Wisconsin Academy. The shooting guard isn’t likely to fill up the stat sheet with scoring tallies, but his role can’t be replaced. Schipper is an outstanding defender and passer. I love Schipper’s game because he has no problem making small hustle plays that lead to winning.
Charlie Theis — SF — Minnesota Fury
If Theis plays well this weekend, Minnesota Fury will have a great chance at bringing home another Hard Work Region Finals championship. I love how Theis can play on the perimeter or in the paint. He has the ability to make outside shots at a high percentage while also dominating on the glass
