DC Elite Summer League – Wednesday Preview

He's tough, physical and willing to battle in the paint. Simpson averaged a double-double in points and rebounds last year. He was so efficient, shooting at an eye-popping 70% from the field last season. Coker is a high energy and high quality lead guard for Henry Ford. He's a quick twitch athlete that can make plays with the ball in his hands. He's a silky smooth athlete that feels instinctually feels the floor and finds open spaces or lanes to the rim. Marshall has a pretty jumper that he rises up on and connects from mid range and from behind the arc. He has the old school 1980's toughness, grit and defensive focus. He also has the modern day athleticism and playmaking abilities. Combine those 2 and you have one of the top 2 way players in the state. The DC Elite Summer League will be a great place to watch him work. He's an elite combo guard coming off of an excellent grassroots season playing up with REACH 2024. Blackwell owns a handful of D1 offers already.
