Continue ReadingTiger looked really good today against Ironwood, AZ. His vision up the floor has been great, he is able to get the ball up quickly. He is not only passing the ball well but he is also scoring the ball well. He has a solid mid-range that is developing because he shoots the ball at a high percentage there. He is also spacing the floor off the ball because he cans hoot from deep and even though he wasn’t shooting a ton off the ball he is pulling a defender away.
Cooper looked great against Murray as he was really controlling the tempo. He is a tough player that was rebounding and getting up the floor quickly. Copper was distributing the rock and drawing two and kicking the ball. Lehi looks great the way they can spread the floor. Look for Cooper to continue to do a little bit of everything.
Highlights
Blake was a beast on the boards. He was even hauling in boards and leading the break and he was effective at times doing that. Really like his energy and he looks like a linebacker out on the floor as people are bouncing off of him. He will be an even more fierce rebounder this coming season.
Malcom looks bigger and more agile already. He moves really well and he is cutting with a purpose using that inside and outside skill set he has. If I was a small school you get on the phone and you call this kid, he has made some strides in his development.
Really like what I am seeing from Quinton as he is a PG that gets to where he wants and he plays the right way as a distributing PG. He likes to feed the ball on drop offs and kick-outs. He finds way to score the ball and he is always looking for a better play or shot. That poise is going to be something you see from him all year.
