Which guards impressed this past weekend at Battle At The Lakes?

[player_tooltip player_id='2119645' first='Tyrel' last='Pride'] -- G -- Powerhouse Minnesota

I think that Pride has the potential to become an excellent prospect at the college level. The 6-foot guard consistently made great plays in Minnesota this past weekend. As a scorer, Pride has a tight handle and an effective pull-up. He does a really nice job of looking for his own shot, especially in the half-court. Pride is also really good as a slasher. He makes quick decisions when attacking the paint. He had some big-time scoring games for Powerhouse Minnesota in Minneapolis.

[player_tooltip player_id='1418511' first='Drew' last='Daoust'] -- G -- Wisconsin Crusaders

Daoust just keeps on getting better. The guard shows up when his team needs him most. He passes well, scores from all three levels, and is a sneaky good defender. Daoust put up huge scoring numbers this past high school season. At Battle At The Lakes, the Wisconsin Crusaders guard proved that this was no fluke. He plays with such a high IQ, especially on the offensive end. He knows when to pick his spots as a scorer. At the college level, Daoust could develop into an excellent player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1214393' first='Isaiah' last='Allen'] -- G -- Chapman Basketball Academy

I have long been a fan of Allen's game. Playing for Milwaukee Lutheran during the high school season, I thought that Allen showed flashes of greatness. He combines explosive athleticism with plenty of skill on both ends. As a defender, Allen is tremendous. He can defend multiple positions effectively. He also has great anticipation, as he has made a habit out of jumping passing lanes and creating steals. Allen is also a great scorer. He gets buckets around the cup and is also improving as a three-point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1142122' first='Michael' last='McNabb'] -- G -- Chapman Basketball Academy

I have zero doubts about McNabb's potential at the college level. The Grafton guard is so skilled on the offensive end. He does a really good job of attacking his defender and penetrating the paint as a slasher. Once he gets around the rim, McNabb is an elite finisher. The guard is very crafty, as he can finish with either hand at unique angles. I thought that McNabb played great basketball this weekend and I can't wait to see what his future holds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1144570' first='Ty' last='Fernholz'] -- G -- Wisconsin Blizzard

Fernholz has developed into one of my favorite prospects to watch in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Blizzard guard is so smooth with the ball in his hands. I love Fernholz as a decision-maker. When he is running the offense, good things typically happen for Wisconsin Blizzard. He makes smart passes and is also dangerous as a scorer.

Markus Williams -- G -- Twin Cities Elite

I thought that Williams put together a really good game on Sunday afternoon. Helping lead his team to a big-time victory, the guard tallied 15 points on efficient shooting numbers. Williams did a great job attacking the rim. He kept defenders off balance and constantly guessing.Williams boosted his stock on Sunday! I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to get looks fro some small college programs!
