I really like how Isaiah was utilized in the high post against Elite 8. He was so good at facing up and finding guys with a quick high-low pass around the rim, but could also see if he had any shooters open on the perimeter. Allen was just racking up assists with his vision and ability to zip in passes over the top of defenders at 6’4. Once his man started to play the pass a little more, Isaiah showed he can just elevate for the short/mid-range jumper with ease. Also showed some of his explosiveness with a dunk over the top of a defender along the baseline.

You won’t find many guards that can rebound like Isaiah can. He has a strong frame at 6’4, and is so quick off the ground to elevate and collect missed shots in bulk. On the offensive end he was having success pulling in his teammates’ misses and using his quick second leap to go right back up with them. Also showcased his smooth three point jumper off the catch, as he can run off screens and quickly get his feet set to get off a shot. In transition Isaiah showed off his explosiveness with a pair of dunks in the second half. Versatile player on the defensive end because of his combination of athleticism, strength, and long arms that allow him to effectively guard most spots at the high school level. Finished the night with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a win.
