This kid has no fear and he has a move for every defender trying to pick him up full court. His side to side movement really allows him to create space. Went up against various PG’s with D1 offers and he was holding his own and getting the best of most of them to be honest. He is finishing open players out in the perimeter and he is dropping dimes to his bigs. If I was a big I would want to play with Ace because he makes some impressive reads. Hit some bid three’s in transition. Just had a good all-around showing.
Highlights
This kid is picking up where he left off. Still transitioning to playing against some elite guards but he had himself a showing. he is strong and he is very skilled with the ball in his hands. He was able to get in the lane and get some mid-range shots up. He was also able to get through the first defender and create for his teammates. With knockdown shooters next to him he was dishing them. On ball defense was elite as he is not afraid to get up and physical. Shot the ball well and this is a great start to allow him to continue to develop. He has to be one of the best PG’s in Idaho regardless of class.
Great pace to his game. He does not get sped up. He can handle the ball well and is a solid lead guard that has that hesi down past as he can get to the rim with that simple slow and go. When he is getting down hill he can hit someone with and in and out and he is quick to the rim. He can finish among the trees with that leaping and hang time he has. He has a really good set up with that step back to create space. Big time weekend.
Brock is no stranger to playing at a high level. He hot the ground running showing no fear beating some impressive shoe circuit teams and he was battling with some big time Forwards and Centers. His quick first jump is tough and his second jump is good as well and those jumps allow him to block a lot of shots. He runs the floor well and he knows when to rim run and when to push out a bit on the wing. Great finisher above the rim and great finisher through contact.
