Colorado Prospect Camp: New Faces

On the defensive side of the ball he was a terror inside, blocking shots and getting after the offensive players in the post. He was a big factor on the boards and was quick to run the break in transition. On the offensive side of the ball he is able to stretch the court being a good spot up shooter and knocking down the three ball. He has good handles which helps him navigate in the paint where he was finishing constantly through traffic. He was showing good vision and was reading the ball well off of the rim. He was beating his defender with quickness and getting himself in the right position to snatch the rebound. On the offensive end he was battling on the inside again using his quickness to beat bigger defenders. When he was matched against someone his size he was getting a lot of second chance points just out hustling them to misses. On the defensive side of the ball he had a lot of hustle plays being quick to rotate and help side for his teammates. He had a presence on the boards and was beating players to the ball. On the offensive side of the ball he was good at getting positioning and finishing around the rim. He brings his hustle on the offensive end as well, getting offensive rebounds and quickly turning it into second chance points because he's going right back up when he gets it. On the offensive end of the ball he is a good ball handler and is able to create his own shots. He showed a knack for being able to finish in the paint over taller defenders. On missed shots he is able to get the rebound and is quick off his feet when going back up for second chance points. He is also a player that can spot up and knock down some threes as well. He did not let that stop him and quickly made defenders respect him. He was knocking down shots all day long and was able to create shots from anywhere on the court. He was showing his ability to knock down catch and shoot opportunities and he also has a nice midrange. He is able to finish around the rim with finesse, kissing it off the backboard with some English or stepping in and hitting a floater. He was not a liability on the defensive end and was playing the passing lane with good vision.
