Rhyne is a W&L commit and will immediately bring a sharpshooting presence to their team, which is why he jumped up over 70 spots in our new rankings update. He averaged 8.6 PPG, 3.9 APG and made 62 threes on the season as part of a NCISAA 3A state runner up team at Gaston Christian. He is a knockdown shooter with a growing ability to make plays with the ball in his hands for other teammates. Impact D3 guy who will contribute early.

Knockdown shooter who got hot in a hurry last night, knocking down all 3 of his threes in the first quarter to score his 1000th point of his high school career. Transitioned to a secondary playmaker throughout the first half and the rest of the game, and excelled with making simple reads with the ball in his hands. Should be a name for many D3/D1 schools to get an eye on as a sniping wing.

There was a debate going around on Twitter Monday about who the best shooter out of NC was, and this kid right here should be firmly in the conversation. One of the prettiest shots I’ve seen over the past year in high school, and he has an ability to knock down shots from almost anywhere. Deep range and ability to shoot over contesting defenders makes him a spot up nightmare within an offense. He’s developing a handle as well, making him even more versatile and useful within an offense. Defensively he showed effort and a nose for the ball while rebounding, keeping him useful, if not a great defender for most squads. He should be all over schools radars if they’re looking for an elite, elite shooter to add to their 2024 class.
