Leading off my list of Peach Jam Friday Standouts is TJ Holmes. I am a big fan of his long-term potential, especially if he can develop physically. Holmes is a lefty with good length and instincts for the ball, but his calling card will be shot-making. After missing his first attempt from three, TJ got going with a right-elbow pull-up, before knocking down a spot-up right-corner three and a tough step-back three. Holmes has a solid handle and can get to the free-throw line at times. He finished with 12 points on 2-5 3FG in the overtime win.

Holmes is a versatile name to get to know in the 2028 rankings out of Carmel Christian. He’s shown he can operate at a few different positions as a facilitator, scorer and presence on the interior. He got his feet wet on the NCISAA stage a bit with five games of action on the varsity stage, but he’s still one to keep an eye on given his competition on the grassroots scene and beyond.
