By the time half-time was reached Owasso was up by one point and several players played a role in them gaining the lead. At one point and time in the third quarter, Bixby went up by eleven points but by the end of the quarter, Owasso was down by four points. With under a minute to go in the 4^th quarter Bixby was up by four points with Owasso at the free throw line and knocking down two free throws to put them down by two points. With 19.7 seconds left in the game, Owasso was down two and they begin to play the foul game to send Bixby to the line.
