was foul trouble. Broken Arrow with all their size couldn’t do anything with the powerful forward around the rim. He went a perfect 12-12 for 26 points. It was variety of drives to the rims, putbacks, sealing and scoring, along with other grown “Mann” finishes. The senior played his last high school game tonight, but with his combination of size, athleticism and finishing ability his playing career should continue.

Owasso is one win away from the state tournament after starting the season 2-5 and going through plenty of growing pains early on. But while some of Owasso’s young stars have come along, the motor that has kept this Owasso team in the hunt throughout this season has been senior

and that’s not up for debate. He might not be their best player but you can make the argument that he’s been the most consistent throughout this season. Mann is the definition of a tweener and he’s an undersized big man at the next level but at the high school level, he’s been a problem for just about every team Owasso has gone up against this season. Mann has been a beast in the paint for the Rams and you can definitely put him on a list for breakout stars from this season in Class 6A.

in these upcoming weeks. Mann is athletic and strong around the rim. He can push the ball out on the break and initiate the offense or get out on the run and attack the rim with reckless abandon but completely under control a thing of beauty. Aggressive and active on the boards combine with grown man strength and a series of post moves that you mix with his quickness make him a problem especially for taller slower big man. The passion with which Brandon plays the game delivers the potential of a generational talent that is going to be a problem these upcoming weeks and going to give the Owasso Rams a major boost!

Man-made an impact on them with his low post presents. Any time he had somebody smaller on him, he was able to impact the game with his strength on the block. His teammates did a great job of feeding him the ball and allowing him to get easy buckets throughout. On the defensive end, he consistently rebounded and allowed his team to get out in transition for easy looks.

was an impressive rebounder and defender in this game. He dominated the glass in this game, coming away with one rebound after another, especially in the second half. He had a few assists, with one of them coming with a nice bounce pass. He showed the ability to drive and finish, finish with the double clutch at the rim over a defender, as he finished with eight points. He played solid defense and contributed on both ends of the court against a ranked opponent.

. While the the Rams are building something with several young players in their lineup, Mann has still been arguably the most productive player for the Rams over the last month. The big bodied guard or undersized forward, however you look at him, had an outstanding start and finish to the game on Tuesday. He would finish with a game-high 22 points in the win. He was a big reason why the Rams jumped out to an early lead with eight points in the first quarter. And he was also crucial as they rallied in the fourth quarter. He would drop 12 points in the final quarter and would go 6-7 from the charity stripe down the stretch. In addition to his scoring, Mann was also really impressive with his athleticism and his strength in the paint.

Mann is a very aggressive guard going to the rim. He has no problem finishing over the top of bigger defenders and through smaller ones. During the game, he always crashed the boards and consistently gave his team second chance opportunities. Because of his versatility to play all five positions on both sides of the ball, he makes it hard on any perimeter player and with his strength also makes tough a post player as well. What he has added to his game since the last time I saw him is a present on the block. He also has added his ability to come off screens and make the right decisions.

Rounding out this is list is another athletic player with a good amount of untapped potential. The physical Mann could be the engine for a young but talented Rams team this winter. His frame and strength would lead to an initial belief that he’s an undersized 4/5 . But the development of his ballhandling skills and athleticism over the past six months, does have him leaning more toward a 3/4 hybrid forward type. While for his longterm prospects to continue to rise, he’ll need to improve as a shooter. His foundation as a bruising and nimble post presence is an important of his DNA. Especially as he does flash some promise with passing vision and creating for his teammates.
